Postier exists to turn your store's products into Pinterest Pins and publish them for you automatically. To do that, we need permission from your Pinterest account — so connecting Pinterest is a required part of setting up your account, not an optional extra.
We specifically require a Pinterest Business account for two reasons. First, Pinterest only allows approved apps like Postier to publish on behalf of Business accounts. Second, requiring a Business connection helps verify that every Postier account belongs to a real person running a real store — which keeps Pinterest healthy and protects other sellers from spam and bots.
The connection only grants Postier the permissions needed to create and manage Pins and boards. You can disconnect at any time from Connected Assets, and we never see your Pinterest password.
